Columbia & NYU waivers?

Columbia & NYU waivers?

Anyone get one yet who took it in October?  And june testers who did, how long after you took it did they come?  Does anyone know how long it may take?  Not sure if I shuld gamble and wait on sending out my apps.  thanks!  :)

Columbia has already been sent, but by snailmail. What you should do is hit "Transmit" on Columbia; that doesn't transmit automatically, and the payment screen will tell you whether you have one.

I have no idea about NYU though.

javert gives an excellent suggestion.  NYU does the same thing.  many people on this board found out about NYU when they went to transmit their applications.  both came around september in the mail. 

columbia will refund your app fee if you get a waiver after applying.  they warn that it'll take a while, and another LSDer said that it took several months last year.  chicago told me that they do the same, in case you're interested.

Got an NYU waiver in the mail today. :)
A letter stating that my fee is waived by attaching it to my app, also waiving the 2/1 app deadline. Anyone else get one? Does NYU usually send out waivers at this point in the cycle or could they be looking for more apps?

I got one from NYU last year in mid Jan. - after the application deadline (which they extended).  No idea why it came so late...
