It is news to me that we were evil.

What the @#!* are the last two pages about, exactly?

I think some lady wrote a book?

Oh, and something about your section eating a big mesh bag of dicks.

Well put.

Along with the Hogwart's charm, which section is best and the one I should hope to be sorted into?

ABCD (Summer Start)- A mixed bag. (If there's any distinction to be made, I'd say that ABCD has the highest ratio of odd-balls. And a few genuine crazies. A very few unpleasant/arrogant types. Also a handful of brilliant minds, and a smattering of very amiable characters. Summer Start is like a miniature Hogwarts all it's own.)

This breakdown also seems appropriate given that EFGH and MNOP seem to be the most "visible" sections, and have the strongest inter-section rivalry.

Thoughts? :P

I feel like I should take some offense at this.

Me too!  Esp since we already established the CORRECT houses 9 months ago (maybe even in this thread??).

Anyway, EF had no gunners this year.  And GH really only had 2 bad ones.  And one of them is a nice person anyway.  The two halves only had one class together first semester, so it was a weird dynamic, where we got super close to 40 people and hardly knew the other half of our section.

So, what were the "CORRECT" houses? You, being the consummate Ravenclaw, ought to remember, right?

Yeah, but it will piss Gengis off. :)  And actually, it's not that far from yours except for that part.

ABCD: Slytherin (OK, I'm sorry, I love certain summer starters and like plenty of others, but I've been rubbed the wrong way too many times by the snobbery and air of superiority of many. "What are all these new people doing in our school?" "We're not even a part of your class.")

EFGH: Ravenclaw

IJKL: Hufflepuff

MNOP: Gryffindor

See, I just had compunction about calling any one section Slytherin. If I were really honest about it, I kind of agree with your disposition. I don't feel like there's any truly evil section at Mich, people are just too decent.

So I thought of Slytherin less in the "evil" way and more in the "ambitious and calculating" way.

Ouchie.

If it makes fou feel any better, I think our year's Summer Start was evil mostly by fluke. Then again, The Sorting Hat (Dean Zearfoss) is pretty awesome.

But remember, " It is our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are..."

I include you and Gengis amongst the "brilliant minds" and "amiable characters."

EFGH- Ravenclaw/Slytherin (The most studious and intellectual section, but also highly ambitious. Members' dispositions run the gamut from the ethical and tolerably friendly, to the dreaded and truly evil gunners (Death Eaters), of which this section usually has the lion's share.)

IJKL- Hufflepuff. (Good for an assortment of affable, pleasant, and gregarious stock characters. They make few waves, though. Probably the least talked-about section.)

MNOP- Gryffindor. (Where heroes reside. Brave and just, with a talent for mischief. Very strong friendships are built here. If there were Quidditch in law school, MNOP would win the House Cup perennially.)

Just got my LC lease today- double suite, my least-desired option. Does anyone know how they match roommates, and when we find out who they are? I'd rather not have to wait until school starts to find out whether roomie is down with ze gays.

I got a double as well, also my least desired option.  I really thought having a preference for economy would keep me out of there.

Anyone else in building G?

Why's everybody so down on the double suites? Having a roommate is part of the Hogwarts charm.

Thankfully, I don't know a lot of people here who are actively NOT "down with ze gays." If they're around, they're pretty quiet about it.

Just turned in law review and journal applications. Finally... completely... done.

Freedom is amazing.

you are free whenever you choose to be free.

Yes, and I chose to be free after I finished choosing to do write-on.

Now, I choose to smoke a Don Pepin Garcia and drink tequila. Freely, even.

You make Lowell proud.

Wicked proud.
