Ok, I'm really confused...SI has a BCS ranking up, which is obviously not from last year (everyone has a 0-0 record), but it can't be from this year yet either since those don't come out right away.  WTF??

That is the last BCS poll from last year. They did mess up the records, but that was where everyone was ranked going into the bowl schedule.

Few things.

1. Im in that group of pigs that loves to ogle Jen Sturger...though it would pretty much work for any girl thats cute in the least bit and likes football (for me at least)

2. Clarett is a circus act.

3. tOSU also suspended a starting TE for the year today.  Only rumor I found as to what it could be is a 2nd drug violation.  I dont keep up with big 10 that much so i really dont know.

4. Before anyone jumps on Tressels nuts for suspending this guy, remember that his starting qb got kicked off for 2 games for taking money.  Dont compare him to Stoops.

Re: the Jenn Sterger thing - I completely understand, but the girl doesn't know her football, despite what she claims.  In her column, when asked if Miami or UF is the bigger rival to FSU, she replied UF for the simple reason that they "play them on a consistent basis."  Now, in my opinion, anyone who doesn't know that FSU and UM play each other on a consistent basis doesn't deserve a column in SI, especially someone who is a student at FSU.  Gimme a f-ing break.

Oh, and @#!* the Buckeyes.   :D

I have to agree with the Jenn Sterger opinion that UF/FSU is a bigger rivalry than FSU/UM.  I dunno if that's because they play each other more, but that's the impression I've always had.

I've heard that the Ohio State/Michigan rivalry is the biggest between two teams in the same conference, while Florida/Florida State is the biggest between two teams of different conferences.

Since this reputation was built while Miami was in the Big East, I assume this implies the Florida/Florida State rivalry is more intense than the Miami/Florida State rivalry.

My friend, the same one that is arguing on where to road trip with me, and i were discussing who was the bigger rivalry just a couple weeks ago.  Needless to say we opted to plan on the Miami FSU game if we were going to Florida.  I think both are pretty close...that was really stupid of JS to say that.  Shes got nice teeth though.

I do want to go to the swamp though.

Were still trying to decide between miami fsu and usc notre dame.

I dont think notre dame or fsu is going to be worth anything this year, but i think both should be great games.

Youre lucky to be in Florida, surrounded by all of this football.  I cant complain though, ive been to a ton of games at UT, TAMU, TT and OU.

Im torn there.  I have no real affiliation with either school.  I'm a huge Mark Price fan so Ive always rooted for Georgia Tech when i didnt care for their opponent.  At the same time, who doesnt love Bernie Kosar?

How does one rate a rivalry?  The national attention, the local attention, the fights that break out???
