Second Acceptance rolled in today: MSU.  Regular envelope but no merit $$$ :(

MSU doesn't pull a very good USN&WR ranking, but they do have an extensive IP program...
I'm really interested in the school based on the curriculum, it's just going to be hard
to make a decision to pay full-tution dollars at a low ranked school.

Oh well, I guess we'll wait out a few more school decisions... hopefully I'll get more
good news in the coming weeks.

Congrats.  While East Lansing is a little dull when you're over 19... MSU is a beautiful campus.

When I was accepted I was not offered any scholarship money either, which I was a little surprised about.  I called them, though, and was told that not all scholarships are offered right away, so it's possible that we may still get some money.

No need to sweat the lack of $$$. I contacted them and asked about scholarships, and they informed me that scholarship decisions would be sent in February. You should be good.

I got my acceptance letter today (Feb 7th), and it included an offer for a full tuition scholarship.  Now I have an intersting choice.  MSU was one of my backups, but now I have to decide between a more acclaimed school (Georgia) vs getting my legal education ultra cheap.  I'm still waiting for the bulk of my decisions to come in before I attempt to make a choice, but I'm already beginning to realize how hard of a choice this is going to be.

Just to add what they told me, when I was accepted in December, I emailed them to ask about scholarships, and they told me that because of my gpa I didn't qualify for any...Thats all they told me, and I expected I'd get offered at least something, but oh well I guess.

I just got acceptance to MS with 100% scholarship.  Go spartans and michael moore!  there are some people bashing MS saying it won't be that good, some compare it to penn state's dickinson thing....  screw PA.  Mich State is the real deal and will be big.

What are your #'s.  I got in a while ago, and haven't heard about $, but my GPA is very high for MSU.

3.66 and 164.  For full scholarships, they said that you need a certain LSAT/GPA.  I dont remember the gpa, but the lsat needed was a 161.

Now I'm confused... today I received an invite from Michigan State inviting me to a Merit Scholarship Breakfast and New student open house.  The RSVP card is entitled: 2005 Merit Scholarship Candidate Program.

Having received no scholarship from MSU.... Does this card indicate that I'm still under consideration for scholarship or is it just a generic form that goes to all accepted students regardless of scholarship consideration?  I guess I'll have to call them to find out the true story.
