Choosing the Right Law School / Re: My ranking of the top 15 law schools

For clarification, since some of you apparently cannot read.

In the post I state: Michigan - best place to watch over-hyped, mediocre football (unless Ohio State is coming to town)

The key word in the sentence is UNLESS.  I did not state that Ohio State was mediocre.  Michigan surpassed my (and nearly everyone's) expectations this year.

So instead of going on a profanity-laced tirade, I will leave it at that.

Good article.  Both teams are going to be in big, big trouble if they can't figure out how to run the ball.

Side note:
I was watching the game at a bar.  I hate both teams equally, but then some feminine hygiene product with a "jumpman" tattoo on his calf started cheering for FSU, so I instantly became a Miami fan.

This was a pretty funny quote from DJ Gallo on ESPN's Page 2:
"The tone for Florida State's entire season will be set on Monday in its opener against Miami -- an always-intense rivalry game made even more so by the fact that each team has several players capable of recreating the opening scene from 'The Last Boy Scout.' One of these years it's going to happen, which always makes the game a must-see."

What the heck do you mean?

Piss on law school.  I am going to work for Big Red Sports and Imports in Norman.  Working 5 hours a week and making $18,000 over the summer doesn't sound too bad to me.

Oh yeah, I guess I would have to be much better at football.  Nevermind.

I would bet my left testicle this is not even close to the first time it has happened with OU football players and that car dealership.

Ok, back on all seriousness rankings are ridiculous and I don't really care if HYS is #1, #2, #3. Minimal differences in quality in all of them.

No!  Didn't you pay attention to my rankings?  Stanford is number four.

In all seriousness though, congratulations to you all for some fantastic acceptances.

I don't see how it could hurt you in the application process.  That said, unless it is from one of the top few business schools, I don't think it will help all that much either.

Curious: OP, what's so annoying about Yale's grading system?
Well, I was half-joking, but I don't care for the pass, high-pass, etc.  I think every school should go with the traditional letter grades and rank the class.

So can I kill you now?
I am actually feeling pretty good today, so if you wouldn't mind holding off until next week, I would appreciate it.

I was awarded $14,000/year with a 169/3.65 (plus graduate work), but I don't know anything about the campus.

To my knowledge, Michigan is the only school that does this. I believe you can only defer to the summer option.
