You aren't a racist, just a jerk.

I was kinda hoping for one of these today, after seeing them all over XOXO. Unfortunately, I still see a rejection in the future.

Are you sending any extra stuff?

I do not advice anyone to lie. However, Michigan's application (and I believe others are similar) did not ask what race you are but what racial/ethnic group do you best identify with. Based on the wording it would be impossible for them to say anything, no matter what you marked. Aside from being immoral, you will also put yourself on the bad side of a lot of people (mainly the administration) which can always come to bite you.

If your LSAT was wall above their 75th and it was clear from your application that you would not attend, then it is possible they yield protected you.

This should scare the sh*t out of everyone.  And if you are not concerned about this, can you please explain why?  Thanks.

I would like to believe that this is a signal that he simply does not believe the government should not be involved. But, I know this is not the case. He simply wants the money to fund different government programs.

You might want to look at the Vault or AmLaw 100 to find some top firms to look at.

I am currently searching for a quality of life survey that it put out regularly. I will post a link when I find it. All I remember off hand is that Wachtell reports one of the highest average hours per week (about 70) and also the highest job satisfaction.

What firm pays 160k pre-bonus? Even Wachtell only pays 140k. Penn's numbers must include bonus, which is USNW does not.

I think they're fudging their numbers.  Penn posts their 75th percentile at 160k on their website.

After four years of rugby, which is notorious for fighting, I am confident enough in my large group fighting ability to support this policy.

We could just get together and have a big brawl to decide who is truly worthy, and send the results to HLS.

I support this policy fully.  Clearly, when deciding between law school applicants, adcomms should take our ass-kicking skills into account.
