in at Oklahoma City University. $22,000/year renewable scholarship offered.

OCU does have a decent reputation in Oklahoma (at least from what i've heard living in oklahoma). it ranks below OU but above tulsa. also, OCU grads typically place well in oklahoma city firms. FWIW.

Anyone hear anything out of West Virginia?  I looked on the status page and it said that my status was updated, but no decision has been made.  I've been complete there for about a week or so.  Any thoughts anyone?

Via telephone call from admissions...I am in at Tulsa!  I now have a choice between OCU and TU.  Both seem to be really great schools with wonderful people.  I am leaning toward TU at this point, but will know for sure after my campus visits.  Looks like 2006 is going to be a great year!  ;D

I spoke to someone at Widener today to ask if they could wait until after fall grades come out to make a decision, because my grades will raise my GPA from a 2.38 to a 2.58 (3.7 since fall 2004 with a full-time job after 10 years out of school, lest anyone think I'm a total deadbeat.).  She said a decision has already been made and that I should hear something soon.  Great, I thought waiting for a decision to be made was bad, but waiting for that decision, knowing it has been made, is ten times worse.

As a side note, I wish they could tell you over the phone, at that point, what the decision was.  Is it a bad sign that she didn't tell me what the decision was, or is this pretty much standard operating procedure?

Lastly, why has this whole process reduced me to a 13 year old kid again who is waiting for Jimmy to give the new girl my note in study hall?  This is friggin demeaning!!
