okay, thanks.  i looked more closely at the website and it does seem that the apps and interviews will be rolling in. but i am wondering if that is really the case.  has anyone out there already been given an interview?  or did anyone go last year, and if so, could you give me a sense of how many interviews you had, how competitive it is to even get n interview, etc.?

much thanks.

anyone know much about this?  how many people really get anything from this?  when will i even find out if i get interviews?  is it on a rolling basis, or will the symplicity system send all the applications to the organizations on the last day to apply?  i am trying to make travel plans fo the week and keep thinking, i don't even know if i am going to have any interviews.

I called for a different reason but then figured what the heck, i should ask...and there was this awkward pause. maybe i am just paranoid, but i think the awkardness was b/c the lady knew i was getting dinged but did not know if she should say anything. she said i can expect to hear this week. so each day i approach the mailbox with dread.  but yeah, why rush the process? i felt the same way about grades first semester of 1l. everyone wanted them to come but i was okay living in ignorance.

I failed, too. Miserably. I don't care. Just a waste of $60. I left early from the test because I had interviews. And I did not study save for 10 minutes while scafing down a sub before the test.  But some of my finals this semester will also be multiple choice, and I am never good at such tests. Oh well.

same boat! i know with nalp changes it may take a while but the waiting is killing me.

Me, too! It's great to learn this is common. When I firt saw the letter, I thought, how have i been rejected from a firm I never interviewed with?  But now it's making more sense. Hopefully more will come!

Hmm. Strange thing. I applied to a firm, did not get an initial screening interview, and then got a letter inviting me to a 1/2 day interview. So it's a callback. But I guess it's not really a call back since I never had an initial call.  Has this happened to anyone else?  Did they mess up in calling me back?  I feel a bit weird about this.

well, that makes me happy...that someone thinks fri afternoon is not really does work best for me, time wise. i would then fly out friday morning and would have a huge cushion so I know I could make my appt. and yeah, first thing monday morning sounds bad.
