Research Associate

PROXY Governance, Inc., (Vienna VA) an independent proxy advisory and voting firm with a goal of helping investors build long-term shareholder value, is seeking full-time temporary research associates to assist in completing research reports on U.S. companies. The associate will be responsible for research, writing proxy analyses and generating recommendations for institutional investors voting at shareholders’ meetings – focusing on areas such as boards of directors, executive compensation and equity compensation plans and charter and bylaw provisions. I don't know of anyone that's had a problem finding a job aside form those people that haven't tried to get a job and those that did terribly academically. Also, Temple's OCI is not limited to the top 10-15% and is open to everyone. It's true that Temple might not be for you if you're seeking nothing but $$$$, but coming out of Temple with good-moderate performance will get you a quality job with good pay. Like anything, if you work hard and take some initiative you'll be successful.

Great, then you should have no problem finding good jobs open to the average temple grad. Make sure your response includes employer name, description of job, compensation and contact information. Just list one or two (I'm sure you'll find hundreds, lol.)

Thanks for that post, Knight.  Maybe some of that arrogance will get them a reality check again with another 10 spot drop.  They sent their students a PDF about "Why we will not drop again in the rankings."  If they care so much, their recruiting effort should show it.
