In preparation for bad or mediocre news, let's make ourselves feel better in advance... no mundane observations allowed, like death, illness or poverty.

I'll start:
Things could be worse... you could be Mike Huckabee's idiot-of-a-son, David.

It could be worse:  I could be waiting for my scores in my home state of Maine, under 10 feet of snow, rather than in sunny, warm San Diego.
I'm in a lynch mob?  I had no idea.  This is really worrying; I really don't have time for another extra-curricular activity.

that actually is the first thing that came to mind - as i posted, yesterday.  i must agree though... i feel terrible for ANYONE who shares the same blood of britney spears in any way...

At least the kid will be fairly well-off, and decent-looking... its grandparents will do most of the childrearing, I imagine. I don't know much about Britney's parents so I'm not sure if that's a good thing, but it's not like it's going to be a crackbaby or anything drastic.
