I was looking at the methodology of the US News rankings and they apparently use the median LSAT and median GPA to determine the rankings, even though (strangely enough) they only include the 25-75 numbers in the rankings we can see. So it seems to me that you really only need to be above the median for a school in the LSAT and GPA to be helping out their ranking. Being at or above the 75% makes no difference, at least as far as rankings are concerned. Is this correct?
