This is a very good question with a few different answers.  My last exam is on the 7th.  I will be tied up in some other stuff until at least the 12th and possibly the 17th, but life mellows significantly after the 7th.

I don't think it's a stretch to assume most people drive automatics (especially as the industry is phasing out the standard transmission more and more each year)...

Neither do I. However, I think it's an unwarranted assumption to put "clutch" in scare quotes and assume that certain people (not "most people") are using the term incorrectly when they're talking about wearing them out on hills
