I'm not sure if this counts as "mail," but I got an e-mail today from Northeastern asking me to sign up for this facebook-like site for admitted students.  It's actually pretty cool, because you can see profiles of people who also got in.  Sort of like LSN, but more myspacey, haha.

My financial aid "package" (really just a cover letter and one page outlining the breakdown) came today from Northeastern.  They gave me some small $1,500 scholarship on top of the one they already gave me, so I'm stoked about that.  A little jarring trying to do the math and seeing how far into debt I'm going to go, though, haha.  Good thing Northeastern has co-ops...

What did they originally give you?

I originally received a $25,500 scholarship (over three years, so $8,500 per year) with my acceptance, and with the aid package came an extra $1,500, and then some Stafford loans and such.  Can't complain about free money, but the thought of possibly being $100,000 in debt is a bit jarring to say the least, haha.  If I go to Northeastern, I'll definitely be glad to have the opportunity to work full-time with the co-op program in 2L and 3L (it'd be really nice to land one of those summer associate jobs at $3,600 a week, ;) )
