Yeah Im all to familiar with the grind during Rush Hour in SE. I perfer to stay away from that. I dont want to be in N. Virginia for that same reason. Traffic coming from that way is much worse tan marylands side IMO. I spent a good deal of my childhood in the rockville/bethesda area but Id rather be closer. Im looking on craiglist for a good room to rent. (Great way to fron front! living in a house you couldn't possibly afford on your own LOL). If anyone is going to Howard/UDC/American and looking for a roomate get at me.

They need to quit doing that!!

But one of the headers says "So I'm in Law School, Then What??"

Could this mean that this open house is for admitted students???

That particular header is for the presentation/Q&A given by the current students.  They will be presenting the "then what" perspective.  Is anyone going to this thing?

I'm not going.  I went to the one in the Fall (which was good enough to convince me to apply to the school).

I sent the admissions staff an email asking if the Open House is only for admitted students and here was the reply:

"The invitation to our Open House has been extended to all applicants.  This invitation is not intended to convey acceptance into our program."

I think the phrase "OPEN HOUSE" is always supposed to allude to "all are welcome" so I didnt assume anything.  But they should definately clarify these things when sending invitations or correspondence, especially since they have been exptremely slow in the review process and have not sent out updates to applicants throughout the process.

I just saw that an LSN poster updated her profile to "Accepted" when she got the e-mail.  She read the title as "open house for accepted students" - see what nerves and waiting can do.
