Yeah that's why I said being a "senior editor" probably wouldn't be worth it unless it's a small time commitment....the title doesn't carry enough weight to justify a large workload.  A titled board position is different.

Our board is divided similarly but the "executive" editors review the 2L work so I imagine the responsibilities of the ME fall more in line with what Alci described.  We publish 6 issues per year  (oh joy!  ).

Yeah that's how my journals worked.  And if you're going to publish six issues, being ME will likely be a huge time commitment.

I remember the good old days of the appellate brief.  enjoy it while it lasts.  Never again to will you get 2 whole months to write something of that nature.

I'm glad it won't. I'm so sick of the fact pattern and the jazillion cases I've slogged through that I'm starting to root AGAINST my guy.

LOL  Oh you'll still deal with crazy fact patterns and a jazillion cases, it'll just be limited to about 2 days as opposed to 2 months.   

I remember my LRW appellate brief. We had to defend this company from employment discrimination at a place of business with a llama on the premises and blankets made out of hemp.  And the former employee was a reformed pot head.  Wild wild stuff I'm tellin you.
