Congrats. I applied early action too (they have a great technology law program). When did you apply?

This seems a bit weird, the earliest anyone listed of being notified last year on lawschoolnumbers.com was mid December...
I mean, they haven't even had their openhouse yet.

Zid-- Did anybody have numbers like these? I mean, being 7 points above their 75% LSAT and near their 75% GPA mark should be pretty much an automatic admit. I'm kind of surprised I haven't heard back from them....

Yeah, I'm sitting at about the same place. 3.5/168. Of course, last year's early action pool on lawschoolnumbers.com didn't have candidates with the GPA/LSAT combo. as original poster, you, or I, so it's entirely possible that we could hear back sooner.

Hrm. So, wclegal, what induced you to apply to Santa Clara? In my case, the fee waiver helped, and they have a great program in my field (technology law). But without that, I probably wouldn't have bothered. Are you doing techlaw too, or did you apply for some other reason? If you don't mind sharing, that is.

Looks like my chances this year are pretty slim with a 3.05 in engineering and a 158 LSAT... sigh

I applied mainly because of the fee waiver and because their tech. law program is great (which is what I want to do). I'm already attending college in the area and have grown to like it out here (but most likely will not get into Stanford law), so Santa Clara is my safety should location trump everything else. Also, I have a friend who's on the editorial board of the high tech. journal at Santa Clara, so she put in a good word about the program to me.
Hopefully, though, I'll end up at a T14 school out East (which is where I'm originally from anyway).

Good to know they've already been sending acceptances out. I sent my app on 10/24, but I have a feeling I won't hear back for a while since my LSAT score is way below all of yours (156 with a 3.8-ish GPA). Here's hoping, though. Just one acceptance would make me a lot happier.
