How to Apply to Law SchoolWhen to ApplyMost law schools' programs start in the Fall. Unless you're applying to a special program that follows a different schedule, there will be an application deadline around February or March for the August / September class. However, most programs have "rolling admissions", which means they consider the applications as they arrive. Therefore, your chances are best at the beginning of the cycle, which is usually around the beginning of December. Applying early is harder than it sounds. You're going to end up relying on lots of different people before you're application is actually in. You might end up waiting for a recommendation, and LSAT score, or a transcript.
