How to Apply to Law School

By Andrew Sinclair (Last updated 7/13/2003.)

Thanks for visiting Law School Discussion. I started the board in 2000 just after I finished my law school applications (though I envision a broader discussion of law school related topics as the membership grows). The discussion board is great for getting input on specific issues, but I wanted to provide a more general introduction to the law school application process.

This article is meant to be a primer to those interested in law school. I don't guarantee accuracy or readability, and if you make it all the way through, please ask questions publicly on the board instead of emailing me. It's not that I don't want to help, but I think most 1Ls and applicants actually know more than I do about this stuff. Plus, the posts to traffic ratio on the board is low, which means there are lots of readers and few writers. No one can answer your question if you don't ask, and there are probably a lot of people with the same question that will benefit.

Okay, enough introduction. Let's get down to it. Click here to start from the beginning.
