A good discussion of strategy followed by sample exams and answers. The strategy discussion is probably worth the price, while the practice exams seem a little tougher than the actual LSAT (though still usefull).

Law school is three years long, the "fun" doesn't stop after the first year. Read an account of the 2L year and understand what you're getting into.

In addition to being a great (true) story, this book is a solid intoduction to civil procedure. It's educational and entertaining.

Courts
An excellent introduction to the US court system for any pre-law student. While "entertaining" will probably never be used to describe this book, it is certainly valuable to understanding the US court system, which is essential knowledge to any entering 1L.

All About Law School
A DVD of law students discussing various aspects of law school. Many student perspectives converge on several law school truisms, making this an excellent explanation of what law school is really like.

Paper Chase (VHS)
The ultimate and most classic of law school movies. It's sometimes hard to find this one in the rental shops, so it might be worth the $10 just to buy it.

Legally
Blonde
A surprisingly accurate portrayal of the modern law school experience. Though not the most academically engaging film, Legally Blonde is at least mildly entertaining.
